Todays grudge match was a close race between a couple of old hot rods from rival makes Hot Wheels and Johnny Lightning. Both cars won at least one of their two runs down the strip, but only one of them went away with a 2.077sec quarter-mile time and the victory. The second race of the week is between the 58g 1969 AMX from team JLR and the 34g Nissan Z from team MxV. Neither car has raced yet this year, but for a long time this JL AMX was in the top 10 list of fastest drag racers with a 2.025sec quarter-mile.
